menuggu saat yang ditunggu....labour. Sigh!

masuk hari ni dah minggu ke-39 I preggy...which means the baby will come out any time sooooon!
waa..excited nyer!..but at the same time, Allah je yang tau betapa nebes nyer I untuk experience the pain for the 2nd time. Kecut perut!
Dulu Zara was delivered a week earlier...unexpectedly. Biase la,1st child. Sakit contraction ke benda pun xsedar...sedangkan its been going on for a whole day. Thankgod on that nite, memang ada appointment with doc untuk cek blood pressure. Tetiba tekuar cite I sakit mcm period cramp, terus doc tu suh baring. Istigfar terus doc tu bila cek yang I da buka 4cm. She immidietly sign a hospital refer letter.
Yang kelakar nye,my hubby was shivering, tangan dia sejuk mcm ice! Macam die pulak yang nak bersalin haha.. So I sempat singgah Watson beli pad and go back home (5minutes away from the clinic) to pick up my mum in law. Like mum, like son. Sampai je hospital, my mum in law kalut menolak-nolak nak bukak pintu lif sambil mengomel...'awat pintu ni tak boleh bukak??'. I and hubby gelak sampai rasa macam nak besalin pun ada time tu...hai,sabar je la ibu mentua ku ni.
Masuk labour room, da bukak 7cm, That was 9pm...orang tengah bz tengok piala suzuki time tu. Doc pecahkan ketuban...sounds like belon pecah kuar air..woooosh. Get ready for labour, Alhamdullilah, 11pm Nur Zahra Syahira lahir.
This time, I pray that my delivery will be as smooth as i delivered kakak....Amin =)

Anger Management...grrr....

Early morning da get annoyed by the system....not a good start.
I'm not sure whether ya'll had gone through such a day. But for me, usually when something touch my nerves early in the morning, most probably I will be cranky and grumpy throughout the day. How bout u?

How to solve this not so big problem?
Is this an intra personal conflict?....or interpersonal conflict?....is it normal or abnormal??
Lets share my findings =)

No. 1: Take a timeout  <----- I like it!

Counting to 10 isn't just for kids. Before reacting to a tense situation, take a few moments to breathe deeply and count to 10. Slowing down can help defuse your temper. If necessary, take a break from the person or situation until your frustration subsides a bit.

No. 2: Once you're calm, express your anger

As soon as you're thinking clearly, express your frustration in an assertive but nonconfrontational way. State your concerns and needs clearly and directly, without hurting others or trying to control them.

No. 3: Get some exercise <------Tak larat huhu....

Physical activity can provide an outlet for your emotions, especially if you're about to erupt. If you feel your anger escalating, go for a brisk walk or run, or spend some time doing other favorite physical activities. Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that can leave you feeling happier and more relaxed than you were before you worked out.

No. 4: Think before you speak <------bare in mind juliana ;)

In the heat of the moment, it's easy to say something you'll later regret. Take a few moments to collect your thoughts before saying anything — and allow others involved in the situation to do the same.

No. 5: Identify possible solutions

Instead of focusing on what made you mad, work on resolving the issue at hand. Does your child's messy room drive you crazy? Close the door. Is your partner late for dinner every night? Schedule meals later in the evening — or agree to eat on your own a few times a week. Remind yourself that anger won't fix anything, and might only make it worse.

There you go!! A happy me.....

                                                     HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY!!!

Who am I? ;)

Salam everybody!

My trip to a shopping mall today had brought me to my favourite spot..MPH bookstore. Bukan ada duit nak spend sangat pun but I just enjoy browsing interesting books, nevertheless the eye catching stationary, bookmark and note pad...rasa macam nak pergi pre-school balik cuz by then its cool to have all those fancy stationary.
Niway, I didn't get to be long there as I was rushing home before the traffic get worst. Somehow, I manage to grab a small lil' pamphlet while waiting for my friend at the cashier. I browse the pamphlet with no interest as it looks just like any other typical pamphlet I've seen before. Suddenly, I saw something that captured my attention...well, guess what?? No an adult thingy-thing to be exact. Its about something called CashVille Kidz by Money Tree.my and Math Monkey. What is so interesting about those?

                                                         cute kan pamphlet ni?

Let me explain briefly (based on the pamphlet )

  • CashVille Kidz is an education animated series of 24 episodes where kids can learn about money and also go on their exciting adventures.
  • Math Monkey is a character that teaches kids to have fun in math activity such as Jungle Hunt. Kids also have the opportunity to learn some cool Vedic Math skills, design to help stimulate mental arithmetic.
The most interesting part is, I hate math! Yeah, until now I'm still sucks at it. And I wonder, why didn't they have such programme when I was younger???huhuhu....if I were to join such activities, I'm sure it would my develop my interest in math =p No wonder kids nowadays are very extremely smart! *envy mode* ;p

Nuh' I don't blame anybody for my weakness in math. Maybe I'm just not a numerical person...I'm a linguistic one =)
